Colombia and Honduras Announce Rosters for January 16 World Cup Preparation Friendly at Ft. Lauderdale’s DRV PNK Stadium

MIAMI, FL — January 10, 2022 — (LATINX NEWSWIRE) — The coaching staff of the Colombian Men's National Team today announced the players who have been called up for their friendly match against Honduras at DRV PNK Stadium in Fort Lauderdale on Sunday, January 16. The match, being organized by Red Dog Sports & Entertainment, will kick off at 5:00 p.m. ET.

The players are reporting to training today in Barranquilla and travel to the United States on Thursday, January 13. The match will serve as preparation for their upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Peru and Argentina for World Cup 2022 in Qatar. Tickets start at $40 and are available at www.VivaFutbol22.com.

The roster includes first team regulars Fredy Hinestroza Arias, Juan Fernando Quintero Paniagua and Miguel Angel Borja Hernandez. Two MLS players made the list; Cristian Arango Duque, a rising star for Los Angeles FC and Portland Timbers mid-fielder Yimmi Chara Zamora.
